[Serious] Good Decisions, but bad luck at the wrong time. NLHE Live MTT's; Affecting profitability.

This is my first post to this community. I have been playing cards on and off for 12 years. Some online in the Full Tilt days and more recently in a card room, playing a lot of smaller NLHE MTT's (2-4 tables).
I consider myself a student of the game. I'm a thinking player who makes decent reads, and the vast majority of the time when money goes into the pot, I'm ahead (often significantly). I track every penny that is spent and earned and I have remained in the green (breaking over slightly even) over a few years of live play.
I have just ran into one crazy cooler after another. I can't get this image out of my head:
https://i.imgur.com/okBBPDw.jpg
Look how good this person runs. My chart would be precisely the opposite (My EV would trend upward but my actual winnings would flatline).
I am a big fan of pot control. I shy away from flipping situations if it's a huge portion of my stack. I take controlled risks. I typically get my money in against weaker players where i have a 60%-90% chance to win. Against strong players, I'll look for spots where i can flip, or even be a slight dog, so long as it's only a small portion of my stack I'm risking.
The problem is, I am losing huge hands at the wrong times which sends me from chip leader to parking lot. E.g. 6-handed villain jams on A 3 9 flop, I call with A10, shows A4 and rivers 4 for 65% of my stack. 1010 < 54o the very next hand for my tournament life. Recently in ONE orbit I lost AA < KK TWICE.
I realize there isn't a huge sample size but i'm feeling like for every one "bad beat" i put on someone, I'm taking 10 myself. I keep detailed notes on my sessions and track notable hands & players. I have consistently ran poorly for all of 2018, with lots of beats at critical points. The issue is, these beats are affecting my profitability. On advantage-hands like this, I am missing high payouts with the chip lead because i'm getting crippled on beats. At just one final table in a couple orbits, I was chip leader and ran like this:
KK < (AJ + AJ), 1010 < K4, AQ < Q10, K4 < 56 (bank and situational call due to blinds).
So, what do i do? Just be happy and keep playing against these players? Fire a larger barrel at a bigger MTT and run good in it and bink a big tourney? I know i have a huge edge on this particular game but i also know competition will be stiffer at bigger tourneys.
I don't grind live every day, Poker isn't my life. So it's hard to get in a large enough amount of hands to have the sample size. I'm not seeing thousands of hands like when i played online.
But all these beats are really adversely affecting my profitability. I don't tilt easily, but it just gets old. Thoughts appreciated.
