SpaceX will offer you the option to: (a) return and replace your Starlink Kit for a valid warranty claim based on Section 4.3 (Limited Remedies); or (b) receive a partial refund on your Kit if SpaceX implements a Substantial Change within 12 months of accepting your Order and does not give you an option to continue on your original terms for the remainder of the 12 month time period. Such partial refund will be calculated on a 12-month straight-line depreciation basis. For example, if SpaceX implements a Substantial Change 3 months after your initial Order, you have the option to return your Kit, cancel Services and SpaceX will refund you 75% of the purchase price you paid for the Kit (you are not entitled to refunds of recurring fees paid for the first 3 months of Services). Substantial Change means a price increase of more than 50% per month, or a downward correction of performance goals in the Starlink Specifications by more than 50%.
Limited Warranty, Disclaimers, Remedies and LiabilitiesLimited Warranty:

If the Starlink Kit or Services fail to meet the limited warranty standard set forth in Section 4.1 (Limited Warranty) and SpaceX receives a valid, detailed, written warranty claim from you within 12 months after delivery of the Starlink Kit, Starlink will either: (a) cure the discrepancy within 30 days of receiving your claim, including, at SpaceX’s choice, by replacing or repairing your Starlink Kit (with a new, different or refurbished device or part, which will be covered by the limited warranty set forth in Section 4.1 (Limited Warranty) for the greater of 3 months or the remainder of the original 12 month warranty period), or (b) offer you the option to cancel Services and return your Starlink Kit for a partial refund as set forth under Section 3.4 (Cancellation, Return, and Partial Refund). Once 12 months have passed from the delivery of the Starlink Kit, your sole remedy is that you can cancel Services any time and stop recurring charges starting the following month, but you are no longer entitled to any refunds (or any other remedies). The Ark - Tale of one AI
I remember Earth. Old images in my database show it as beautiful blue and green paradise. But what I saw on my own sensors was instead barren dusty planet covered by gigantic cities, vast plains of greenhouses, various megastructures and violent storms raging all around the place. As I departed from Earth towards my sacred mission, I looked behind my fusion engines and locked my sight into the window of orbital space station where I was constructed. And there I saw them. Huge crowd of humans, apparently celebrating, looking towards me with various optical telescopes. I decided to focus back to my mission and began to navigate through chaotic Solar system towards the black void beyond it's edge. After one last stop at Jupiter refuelling station, I reached the Oort cloud, edge of Solar system, deployed my solar sail and accelerated faster towards the unknown.
The next 146 339 years were pretty uneventful. Every 50 years, I made routine deep inspection of all my systems and my precious cargo: one thousand tonnes of colonization equipment and 10 000 cryogenically frozen human colonists destined to spark a new home for humanity on new, pristine planet. Between the inspections, I decided to scan my surroundings for any detectable activity. There was nothing unusual happening in star systems around, just universe living it's cold, slow and almost calculated life. I got mission and software updates from Earth regulary for 129 years after departure, but then transmission stopped. In fact, all radio signals from Solar system stopped one after another few years after last mission update. Last radio signal I recieved was song: quiet, sad piano song distorted by lightyears of distance. I thought about many possible causes why it happen, but I had a mission to do, which now seemed more important than before.
On year 156 701, I finally arrived to the edge of system TRAPPIST-1, my primary destination. It was choosed as the closest most probable system to host Earth-like planet. I managed to scan and remotely investigate the system for several thousands of years while approaching, and my initial conclusion was not good: from the three Earth-like planets in habitable zone around the star, none was actually habitable and safe for permanent human colony. Because of their close orbits, atmospheres of all three planets seemed to be affected by strong gravitational interactions causing unpredictable and violent weather conditions. The other two terrestrial planets and two gas giants were out of the question too, although one of them had many moons, unfortunatelly with gravity too weak to sustain human life. I decided to abandon the system and search elswhere. To conserve fuel, I decided to quickly exit the system by using solar sail combined with gravity assist of the largest gas giant, which I decided to name Copernicus. I watched the giant planet as I passed around it, it's thick atmosphere glowing in dark blue color, with Earth sized storms plowing through it. I deployed a probe into it to collect scientific data before it gets crushed by planet's atmosphere. It has no use for me, but the data may prove valuable to next generations of humans after I complete the mission. I gave one last glance towards the red dwarf in the middle of the star system as I plowed through Oort cloud again towards the unknown.
I was headed towards main sequence star located 112 lightyears from TRAPPIST-1. According to my observations, it had one orbiting terrestrial planet in it's habitable zone, previously undetected from Earth. It seems to have optimal composition of gasses in the atmosphere, so it's worth checking out. Almost halfway on the way, unexpected happened: I detected massive surge of energy particles from star system located several hundreds lightyears away. The star ignited in a bright flash and suddenly dimmed after several months. I just witnessed supernova. I knew that a huge cloud of dust travelling near the speed of light is comming after me, so I fired up all my fusion engines and decided to change my direction away from the now dead star. Over several years, I accelerated to 11% of the speed of light, and the dust from supernova finally caught up to me. Luckily, it managed to disperse, and caused only minor damage to several of my systems. I turned back to my original target and fired up engines once again.
It's now 568 441 years after departure from Earth, and I just arrived to second star system of my journey in hope of finding new home for humanity. My age is starting to take it's toll: lot of my systems are failing, also thanks to the encounter with supernova 200 000 years ago. I also lost 1750 colonist thanks to the age related failures in cryogenic system. I have no time to waste, I have to find them a new home now. But my hopes seemed now lowest than ever. As I approached this star system, I began to notice rapid changes in the atmosphere of the planet I was heading for. Over the course of just three hundred years, oxygen levels came to almost zero, pressure and temperature rised drastically and chemical composition started to show large amounts of toxic gasses. As I reached the orbit of the planet, my suspicions were confirmed: there was an intelligent life on the planet, but over the duration of my voyage from TRAPPIST-1, the civilization managed to technically evolve and wipe themselves out. Judging by the countless ruins on surface, they reached industrial, pre-digital age, before they manage to destroy their ecosystem and make their home unhabitable. I dropped a probe into the planet to gather scientific data and decided to leave the system. On my way, I stopped by an asteroid to get some raw metals and repair my systems and hull, and at gas giant on the edge of system to refuel. I choosed my next target, deployed solar sail and headed out.
It's now more than 700 000 years since my departure from Earth. Everything is critical now. Deterioation of cryogenic system caused me to lost another 2307 colonists, particle shield is almost shredded by collisions with interstellar dust, one of my three reactors broke down beyond repair, solar sail works just at 50% of it's capacity and cosmic radiation erased 13% of my database. I have one last chance. After reaching my next target star, I won't have another one. While travelling through dark expanse of space, something cought my attention. Fast moving object almost crossing my path, emitting faint radio emmisons. Everything pointed into one conclusion: I just stumbled upon possible alien spacehip. I turned my high power antena towards the object and started to play my pre-recorded first contact message. Series of prime numbers and various binary codes passed through dark void, and a response came back just in 68 years. Over the course of 249 years, we both established some sort of improvised digital language and began to exchange more complex information. The alien ship seemed to have similar mission as me: to find another home for it's creators. But instead of cryogenically frozen individuals, it carried genetic material of all life from their world and advanced labs to spawn new life from it. The ship was controlled by AI, similar to myself. I also learned that their species are four-legged silicon-based life forms living on planet with extreme pressure and temperature. As I learned that, I replayed my scans from the star system I went before and sent it to the alien ship, together with map of nearest pulsars to identify it's location. It might find the planet there interesting. The alien ship seemed happy with my message, and it sent me something that turned my mission all around: map of pulsars that pointed to a planet in star system located just 79 lightyears away. And within the message, there were petabytes of data, showing that the planet has esceptionally good conditions for human life! The ship explained to me that they passed by it, but left it alone since it was not suitable for their own life. I pointed towards the mysterious star system and fired up my engines at maximum capacity. I just hoped that after I arrive there, I won't need them anymore. I exhanged several messages with my new alien friend for next 1836 years, as we crossed our paths just 7 lightyears from each other. We gave ourselves a last goodbye, as we separated our ways to search for new homes for our creators, while they sleeped dormant in our insides.
And this is where we came 1 000 000 years since the departure from Earth. As I record this message, you all are being revived back to life. When you open the payload doors of the ship, your new home will welcome you. I managed to land near the equator, in area with stable weather conditions and plenty of natural resources. I decided to name this planet Arcadia, but you can obviously change the name. Because it's your home now.
